This spliceable 11.7 mm. double braid climbing rope from Yale Cordage has a 6,500 lbs. average breaking strength. Blue Moon combines the lightweight characteristics of 11mm ropes and the more conventional sizing of 1/2" climbing lines and features the same construction as Poison Ivy and Tropical Ivy climbing rope.
