Synthetic Cabling
For years, synthetic cabling has been used extensively through-out Europe. It is a minimally invasive tree support method and has been shown to be as reliable and just as strong as wire cable. Choose from the Swedish Bracing System or the Branch Saver. Installation of both of these systems is easy and in most cases less labor intensive than traditional wire cabling systems.
This Swedish designed bracing system is used to support weak or damaged limbs or crotches. The nylon braces are non-abrasive and will not damage the cambium by compression or by harboring insects. The durable slings can be easily installed or removed as needed.

Branch Saver is an adjustable system for bracing limbs. It should be used with a large loop, Brummel spliced, at the main support point trunk of the tree and a large loop, Brummel spliced, at the the limb which needs support.
(CAUTION: This type of support system must be installed only after the branch to be supported has been pre-tensioned with a tensioning system that can be released under control. Failure to do this may result in broken splices or injury to the installer.)
Branch Saver is made of UV resistant polyester hollow braid that is easy to splice. Fast to install and lightweight, Branch Saver is an excellent alternative to wire cable.
