Bracing braid is a 12-strand single braid of 100% polyester that produces a firm, round braid with significantly higher tensile strengths than double braid polyester ropes of the same diameter. It comes standard with a vinyl coating that improves abrasion resistance, permits color coding, and prevents light water absorption. Used to secure ends of Swedish Bracing System by splicing and use of plastic thimble.
