Rope Grabs and Positioners
When it comes to mechanical adjusters on lanyards the ART Positioner has become the first choice of climbers. The Positioner grabs the rope as soon as it comes under load.
Contrary to conventionally used rope clamps the Positioner allows a reliable one-handed adjustment even under load. The ergonomically formed release lever offers comfortable handling.
The Positioner works with ropes of 11-13 mm in diameter as well as on steel core flip lines with a climbing rope cover.
Certified to EN567 – Rope Clamps, the THRG2 can also be used as a progress capture component in rigging systems. NB: It is the user’s responsibility to ensure compatibility of components in a rigging or climbing system. The THRG2 rope grabs are individually serial numbered for traceability.

The Captain is a self-orientating, high strength throwing hook that is used as a positioning aid. It has been designed to increase stability and create positioning options during complex jobs requiring repositioning.
The shackle reduces torsional friction and allows the hook to pivot onto any anchor up to 90mm in diameter to achieve reliable location. In this way, the Captain allows you to use remote anchors to traverse the work space in a controlled manner.
Once the anchor has been located, DMM's high quality engineering ensures the Captain achieves a rated strength of 18kN (dependent on anchor quality). Clever design allows the device to be efficiently racked when the job is done to minimize chances of snagging.

The Gibbs ascender is intended for flip lines (for 7/16" - 1/2'' Rope) and load hauling, where extra strength is required. Not for self belay by solo climbers.
